The Lasso Room is located upstairs and is amazing!

Spacious with beautiful and original hardwood floors, you will fall in love with the transoms above the entry doors.  Yes, doors. The room features two doors.  We’ve yet to figure out what the purpose was but we love them!

It is located on the north side of the house and has windows overlooking the large shaded yard and the swing area.  This room shines in this 1882 Italianate Victorian that has been well cared for throughout its history.

Rustic Texas charm!

This room has a neutral palette of creams, tans, and dusty blues. And the inspiration…

came from the antique framed Texas Colonies map that Boo got many years ago.  It has beautiful colors and detail and Belle wanted to incorporate those colors in this room because of the lighting and the wood floors.  Rustic touches include the 1/2 windmill wall art, wire heart-shaped bird cage, galvanized details, and neutral drapes to allow the light to flow in and add a touch of “come stay awhile”!  Many antique pieces throughout as well as some seating areas that are perfect for reading a book in the peace and quiet.

The Lasso room

This room is named after the street we lived on, in our 2nd house  as a married couple.  This house was (is) located in Angleton, TX.  Located south of Houston and only fifteen minutes from the ocean.  Belle loves the ocean- so this was perfect!   It was the second home we owned in Angleton.  We raised both our kids there and it was a tranquil and quiet community that had lots of wonderful people with life long friends.

We loved living there and loved our neighbors–that we continue to miss but stay in touch with!

Come visit us and stay in the Lasso room- you will love it!
